My project, to study with two of the world’s leading piano pedagogues Christopher Elton and Piers Lane at the Royal Academy of Music was most beneficial to my musical development as a professional classical pianist in that it finely honed my technical and interpretative skills at the highest level towards a successful concert career. I have since made concerto and recital debuts in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, USA, Italy, France and Zimbabwe whilst continuing to perform throughout England and Australia as soloist and chamber musician, performing works from Rachmaninoff to Benjamin Britten and Beethoven. Concurrently I am about to embark on a PhD specializing in the piano music of Rachmaninoff whilst continuing my concert career. 2007 performances included concertos in Australia and England, a recital tour of China and Africa and chamber music in Australia, England, Hong Kong and Italy.
