'Making an Entrance: Theory and practice for disabled and non-disabled dancers', was subsequently published by Routledge in 2001. It has become a set text on dance and disability.
Since writing the book I have continued to teach, lecture and choreograph around the world. I directed several award winning pieces in South Africa (for Tshwaragano Dance Company and Remix Dance Company) as well as working in Ethiopia, Japan and across Europe.I have also continued to perform with '5 Men Dancing'.
In 2006 I was commissioned to make a new work for Scottish Dance Theatre and also became one of the first choreographers to be awarded a Rayne Foundation Fellowship. I moved to the South West in 2002 (where I now live with my wife and three children) and recently joined the faculty of Theatre and Performance at the University of Plymouth where I am looking forward to shaping the next generation of innovative performing artists
