I was awarded a Wingate Scholarship in 1998 to develop and write a new show called LOST IN MUSIC that featured glass, singing, fire, flying and music. I completed the libretto for LOST IN MUSIC by the end of my scholarship and began a fruitful collaboration with the composer Luke Stoneham. My work on LOST IN MUSIC was helped further by a Paul Hamlyn Award for Artists in 1999 and a trip to China through the ACE/ British Council “Artists Links” programme. We presented a work-in-progress entitled, ORNAMENTAL HAPPINESS in September 2006 and received a great response from both the audience and reviews.

LOST IN MUSIC is being produced by Jeremy Goldstein of London Artists Project and we plan to present the premiere in June 2009 -a full decade on from my first work on the project as a Wingate Scholar.
